We can advice you over the phone. We can provide advice in ten languages and can also arrange interpreters when needed. Please phone to speak to us. If you cannot phone then you can also text or email if that is easier. We can phone you back so we are paying for the call.

We still offer our full range of advice and casework. We are also providing advice about your rights that are specific to the situation with lockdown and Covid-19.

Established by the community in 1977, CHAC is a busy neighbourhood advice centre in Manchester providing face-to-face legal advice and support to residents.

 


 

Advice and Volunteer Manager

Full-time (35 hours pw)

Salary: £30,451 to £32,234 per annum.

This is a permanent post, subject to funding

We are recruiting an Advice and Volunteer Manager to join our team to lead on managing the operations of our charity. You will work alongside the charity Manager, a small advice team and a growing team of volunteers to deliver an effective and valued advice service in North Manchester.

CHAC is a busy advice service working within a diverse community. We want to recruit somebody with experience of delivering an accessible social welfare advice service as well as experience of managing or supervising advice staff and/or volunteers. This is a full time post. However, we would consider splitting the job into a part-time staff management post and a part-time volunteer management post.
